Many Professional Associations as well as clubs and other associations run as they always have. But new emphais on governance means that there is a need to have a close look at how assoications operate.
For Instance, when was your constitution ast reviewed, is there any conflict of interest among decision makers, and are any details about how the organisation runs not publicly available to members.
All of these things can return to “bite you”.
